The resort offers stunning scenery and convenient access to ski slopes, making it ideal for winter sports enthusiasts. The buffet dining experience was delightful with a great variety of food, though after skiing hours, options for entertainment or dining were quite limited. While the hotel's service was commendable, the lack of activities at night was a downside for me.
During our family trip, I chose this hotel due to my Marriott Platinum status, but I found the benefits to be quite limited here. The rooms were nice for a couple's getaway, but not really family-friendly, and I had issues at the bar when trying to order drinks for my kids. Overall, while the rooms may be okay for couples, I wouldn't recommend this property for families looking for an accommodating experience.
The Sheraton Kiroro Resort is a solid choice with great service and location, perfect for skiing. However, make sure to double-check your ski lesson times, as I faced a significant cut in lesson duration due to scheduled fireworks. The room sizes are impressive and the on-site dining is decent, but nighttime food options are quite limited around the resort.
I had a fantastic family ski trip at this hotel, where the snow conditions were just perfect and the resort is conveniently located right in front of the ski slopes. While the hotel staff provided excellent service, especially in the bar area, I was a little disappointed with the limited benefits for Marriott Platinum members, such as room upgrades and late checkout availability. Overall, it was a great experience for skiing, but families might find more suitable options elsewhere.
I had an incredible time at the hotel, which offered exceptional skiing with great slopes and breathtaking views. The rooms were simple but clean and the breakfast was enjoyable. The dining options were slightly limited but the atmosphere was cozy. The location was fantastic, right at the base of the slopes, making it easy to hit the mountains. However, the restaurant billing could use some improvement.
